Turn on Single-Sign Mode for routine transfers

Speed up routine approvals while keeping MPC security intact

Updated on

Single-Sign Mode: Signer A signs locally while Signer B co-signs from the Secure Enclave to complete a transaction

Single-Sign Mode allows Secure Enclave to co-sign transactions based on predefined Policies. When conditions are met, transactions proceed with a single required signature, reducing manual steps and speeding up routine signing.

Single-Sign Mode is activated only after both owners agree to enable it. For security, it can be disabled at any time, and the change takes effect immediately without requiring partner confirmation.

Compare how transactions are handled with and without Single-Sign Mode:

Single-Sign OFF means slower multi-sign approvals, a security refresh after 100 transactions, and manual coordination; Single-Sign ON means faster simplified signing, no transaction limit or refresh, and automatic approval based on predefined rules

Save Time

No waiting for the other signer to be online.

Still Secure

Both owners’ keys are always included for all transactions and requests, just handled by the secure enclave.

Each signer’s key is securely split into 3 cryptographic parts:

Secret key split into 3 shares: 1 key share held in an isolated cloud environment used only for rule-based signing, and 2 key shares that remain securely on the signer's device for local signing

Original Keys Stay Private

Single-Sign Mode only adds controlled signing to the Enclave without bypassing signings.

Activation Requires Both Owners

Single-Sign Mode only activates after both owners agree to enable it.

Emergency Control

Disable Single-Sign Mode anytime with immediate effect, no partner approval is needed.

  • Both owners need to complete setup at the same time to activate Single-Sign Mode.
  • Biometric verification is required.
